President and Founder of Quiet Cadence.
Having worked in healthcare since 2007 in various capacities ranging from LPN to Nurse Practitioner. She has worked family medicine and urgent care in large and small health systems in Montana and Washington. Kristen currently works as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner at Central Washington University and balances her career and family life in Kittitas County.
Over the past several years, Kristen experienced and recognized burnout on an unprecedented level in healthcare during COVID. She too struggled to balance career, family and her life passions. Over time, recognized that she was not alone and set out to be a part of the healing process for her friends, peers and coworkers in a new capacity and Quiet Cadence was born!
Secretary of Quiet Cadence
Jenelle was inspired to help her good friend Kristen make her vision for Quiet Cadence a reality. She is overjoyed that QC is already helping community members in Kittitas County and thrilled that her horses can be a part of the program. Jenelle is a lifelong horse, nature and animal lover and a mom to two high school daughters. Her career is in Special Education, first teaching and now serving as an administrator with Dartmoor School, a small private school focused on learning individualized, 1:1 instruction. She is excited to attend Eagala training this Spring to further support healthcare workers and other first responders.
